Creating a model for senior living that extends beyond the current stand-alone buildings and creates opportunity through self-sustaining agritourism and Live, Work, Play elements that form a bustling, inter-connected community that welcomes all ages. This is the vision of Lakeside at La Loma.

As part of a multi-phased project, the master plan for Lakeside at La Loma provides the framework for this new, innovative community, transforming the existing CCRC campus of La Loma Village into a diverse 350-acre community that will include: expanded independent and assisting living, agritourism space with working botanical gardens, orchards, working farms, cider mill and farm-to- table dining, commercial/retail space with specialty retail, high-end dining and health and wellness retail, age-targeted/ age-restricted neighborhoods with community gardens, parks and network of trails, an equine wellness facility, Center for Health & Wellbeing and higher/lifelong learning education facilities, Market Street section with integrated mixed-use space that focuses on urban style residences, commerce, education, health and wellness and entertainment uses, significant green space for recreation and a trail network that connects the community and provides space for ball fields, tennis courts and miles of walking trails, lakefront that will engage a full range of amenities including clubhouse, fishing pier, art pavilion, pottery barn and lake house.

The first phase implementation of the Lakeside at La Loma vision is in the detail design phase and ground breaking is expected for the second quarter of 2017. All elements of this expansion have been designed in a carefully crafted, compact environment that celebrates the Arizona indoor-outdoor resort style setting in a very walkable and friendly environment, with a specific focus on sustainability, quality of life and connectivity.
